Come out and enjoy the bright orange and blue tent located between Everitt Lab and Engineering Hall for pizza, pop, chips, and desserts while listening to a variety of bands on campus performing live on the the stage before you. This popular spot is a great place to sit down and rest from walking around the large UIUC campus.
Food and Drinks
Upon entering the tent you will be greeted by the sound of performers and the smell of hot pizza. Throughout the days of EOH (9am-4pm), Area 51 is a great place to sit down and take a rest. But through the hours of 11am to 2pm, slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza, varieties of canned soft drinks (bottled water too), and bags of chips will be for sale and for your enjoyment.Entertainment
The live bands on the stage of Area 51 include a large selection of University of Illinois student organizations. In the past, groups such as No Comment, Contraband, Girls Next Door, No Strings Attached, and Rip Chords have performed. Check back closer to EOH to see the list of bands that will be performing this year.Tours
On the hour, University of Illinois students will lead general groups around EOH showcasing the many exhibits while informing you of many interesting facts about the college and projects. This is a great way to be able to interact with UIUC students and see why UIUC is ranked so highly in the nation.EOH Merchandise
Purchase EOH long and short sleeve shirts inside the Area 51 tent to show off to everyone that you were at this year's EOH event. You can also pick up the shirts at visitors centers that are located all through the campus. Every year the shirts sell out rather quickly, so make sure to pick one up early. Pricing will be available soon.
