Visitors
Welcome to EOH
Directed by Heather Curran
Engineering Open House attracts over 15,000 visitors to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign campus and we want you to come this year! EOH is filled with the latest in science and technology from the biggest companies and from the latest research that occurs at UIUC by our students and professors. Our exhibits are designed to be interesting for all ages and backgrounds, so even if you are not an engineer, you will still find EOH enjoyable.

Getting to EOH

We are located on the Engineering Campus of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Click here to map your route to parking lot E-14 (parking here is free). EOH will provide shuttles from E-14 to the Engineering Campus. A map of the engineering campus can be found here.

What is there to do?

Once you get to the Engineering Quad, you will find there is almost too much to see and do in one day. But don't worry, there are two whole days to EOH. The first thing you should do on campus is to find a welcome center and pick up a EOH Visitor Guide which will give you a map of the campus and listings of where the attractions are located. Start in any building and you will be amazed by the marvels of modern technology.

What is the purpose of EOH?
The purpose of EOH is to educate, inspire, and amaze. Every year, people from all over the nation come to EOH because it is fun to see. In addition, there are also many students that come and are inspired to pursue engineering from the projects seen here. This year, our theme is "Sparking Curiosity" because we are really targeting the curiosity of students to pursue engineering. We hope that the projects and competitions displayed at our event will make a difference in students' lives.

Where should I park at EOH?
If you are a school and want to drop your students off on campus, please bring your bus or shuttle to the west side of Talbot Laboratory on Wright Street (Parking in this area or any other non-designated area is strictly prohibited). Please use this location as your school's designated drop-off/pick-up point in order to reduce traffic and improve safety.

All other visitors may park in Lot E-14, where shuttles will provide you with direct transportation to EOH. Please reference our map.
